Accounting Latvia receives a license for the operations of outsourced accountants
On October 10, Accounting Latvia has received a license issued by the State Revenue Service for the operations of outsourced accountants. Such a license will be mandatory for accounting outsourcing providers starting from July 1 of the following year. By introducing the licensing of outsourced accountants, control of the level of professional qualifications is introduced in the accounting services industry, healthy competition between industry representatives is promoted, and a number of other mandatory requirements that must be met in order to meet the standards set in the industry are established. As a result, this also improves the quality of services, as only highly qualified and experienced professionals can be involved in their provision in the future.
