Thx to all charity event participants!

Accounting Latvia team is grateful to all those who donated useful and necessary things at Christmas time for those people who lives turned not to be so easy.

During Christmas Charity event our clients donated toys, books, clothes and other useful things. With Accounting Latvia assistance received goods were delivered to Rezekne children’s shelter and social care center for retired people where they will continue to delight, educate and warm the new owners.

As this charity event got your great response we are inviting you for next Christmas charity campaign to donate a variety of useful things that you don’t need anymore, but wich would be able to bring joy to others or to make someones life better.

Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship for private businesses launch

Since November of 2009 Accounting Latvia cooperates with Continuing Education Center of Rezekne University, starting to teach a new professional development program for those who want to start a private business.

The professional development program is “Business Basics”. Manager of the company Accounting Latvia Ilona Markunaite here teaches topics such as business forms Latvian, the registration of business in Latvia; Latvia’s tax system, tax optimization opportunities for economic activities/businesses, State Revenue Service requirements and rules for wholesale and retail trade, service provision businesses, manufacturers, EU structural funds, the types of programs, funding opportunities and risks.

Duration of the program – 96 academic hours.

The program is approved by the Boardof Studies of Rezekne University.

Successful participation at the fair!

One of the largest accounting and legal outsourcing companies in Rezekne and Latgale region – Accounting Latvia took a participation in exhibition “Latgale entrepreneur 2009” during November 13th to 14th.

This year exhibition took place in Rezekne and it had a wide scale. The exhibition was not only represented by enterpreneurs from Latgale region, but also companies from other regions of Latvia, applying for food, cosmetics, mobile and other industries.

Live it in order not to apologize

Ilona Markunaite in age of 26 years has reached more than seems possible. Accounting latvia director and owner Ilona last year was nominated and awarded with title “The Woman of the Year in Rezekne”, and the feeling is that about this ambitious woman we will hear much in the future. By nature, the world vision and self view Ilona is different from typical people in her age – the strict principles, wide thinking, rich experience, immeasurable capacity of work, vibrancy, commitment… Sophocles said, “The sky does nothing for those who has lack of susceptibility.” But it seems that Ilona has that much susceptibility and power so that no external factors and help is needed…

Woman of the Year 2008 in Rezekne

At the eve of Rezekne’s city celebration Association of Enterprising Womankind Club “Sentio” organized competition “Woman of the Year 2008 in Rezekne”. Title was given to the director of Accounting Latvia – Ilona Markunaite.

The competition aims – to excel and introduce those representatives of the fair sex to people to the city of Rezekne and Latvia who have active life position and who have done something publicly, professionaly and socially significant.
